Hi,
How many servings do you get out of a 12x18 in. sheet pan, 1 layer. I only use 2 1/2 cake mixes. I figure about 35-40 pieces?? Thank you

I use 3 cake mixes for this pan.

It's pretty simple to just do the math to figure number of servings on a square or rectangle cake. If you are going to cut the cake into standard 2x2 pieces, then you will cut 6 rows by 9 columns (54 servings).

If you cut cake into 2x3 pieces, then you will cut 6 rows by 6 columns (36 servings).

This is assuming a single layer of cake.

I also use 3 mixes for this pan if I am doing single layer.

I have baked 2 thinner layers of 2 mixes each then stacked them. It makes a pretty tall cake - too tall for a standard cake box once you get it iced and decorated.
