I have wedding comming up in June... and the bride has requested that her cake be POOL (from David's Bridal) I went to my cake supply place and they told me 1 part leaf green to 5 parts sky blue.... and the color is VERY VERY GREEN... and no where NEAR this frustrating POOL color....
i have tried other combinations, and either get a too blue or a too green color... im pulling my hair out in frustration...
Please tell me someone else has come up with the magic formula for this color.... please help before i have no hair left.
Have you tried Americolor turqoise color? Here is the link if you want to have a look.

You can add a bit of sky/royal blue to make it a bit more bluey.
i took a look at it but... i think it is way too blue.. it looks like the wilton teal... i have never used americolor before...!!!
i only use wilton bc its all i know
I used Americolor electric blue. I hit the nail on the head with the color, but can't remember if I added anything else to it, sorry.

pinklesley, Americolor is great. You can use as little as you want or as much as you want. Did you see the other different blue colors they have. What about the sky blue?
thats cool.. im going to check.. we did a bunch of trials and found that sky blue with a tiny touch of leaf green is perfect..
