Styrofoam And Fondant........

have not tried this yet,but I have to cover styrofoam with fondant and trying to figure out to get the fondant to adhere to the styrofoam.should I frost it first or can i get away with extract or something of the sort?

you can just mist your dummy w/water or some people use piping gel.

I just spray the stryofoam with water, and it works really well.

I use a "smidge" of buttercream around the edges of the fondant. Works for me!

I used BC to coat the fondant and then put it on the styrofoam. It worked like a charm!

I put a little crisco on the dummy, fondant sticks perfectly and comes off like a charm icon_smile.gif

I've use piping gel and corn syrup. Water also works. Mostly you are looking for something wet. Just be careful and use it sparingly. Too much liquid will melt/desovle the fondant.
