Hi guys!

I need your help. I have a Blue's Clues cake due this Saturday and to avoid the making fondant figures I thought I could make edible images printed on frosting sheets.

My question is, can I put frosting sheets directly on fondant or do I need some type of backing? I'm not sure if the image will seep into the fondant or if it will melt altogether.

HELP me my peeps, I don't know what to do!!

yes...you can put icing images on fondant. do it when it is still pliable and not dried out. icon_wink.gificon_wink.gif

I was wondering the same thing, do you have to apply piping gel or anything?

I usually brush with a little water first. Give it some time to sort of meld with the fondant.

I back every EI I use with fondant so the customer can peel it off if they like. I just dampen a paper towl a bit and brush the fondant with it to get it damp before applying the EI. Dont wet the fondant... just dampen it. The EI sticks great that way.
