First of all, late this winter I decided to get into cake decorating and was using any excuse to make a cake. Then a friend asked me to make her wedding cake for this weekend. That only made my problem worse. I found this site and Wilton's site and others and have been spending more and more time online learning as I read. This past week my DH decided my cake internet time was more aptly called cake porn! And I am severely addicted. My problem is after the wedding on Sat we will be leaving to go traveling for the summer and I will not be baking till the fall. So on Sunday how do I stop my compulsion to log on and see the latest in questions and answers!!??? I will have to quit cold turkey I guess and suffer through the withdrawal symptons.

I am traveling and can get internet connection most of the places we've been. In fact, DH informed me that as we traveled thru the high desert of CA, thru ghost towns there was high speed internet connection available! I could hardly believe that as we didn't get it in northern IN
Just keep right on learning. You can share info w/others and help answer ?s.
I have only made 3-4 cakes in the past yr. I don't expect to make any for at least a yr but you never know when you will want to. I have just enough supplies w/me to work on one
