I purchased a Wilton Dimensions Multi-cavity cupcake pan and was wondering if I could coat the bottom ( exposed ) part of the cupcake with simple syrup or something, so the cake dosn,t dry out?

Welcome to Cake Central. There is a library worth of information in these threads.

You could try it, but it will likely make them sticky. If you are not using paper liners, you could drop the baked cake into a paper that would help protect it from drying.

Thanks for the help. These cupcake pans have four cupcakes and 4 tops to a pan. There is a plastic lid, maybe this might work. Again, thanks
