This is a cake for my sister's birthday. I was going to add some fondant flowers, but my husband thinks it's better without. Do you think it would look nicer with a few flowers here and there? And if so, what kind? Daisies or roses or carnations or something else?

I think it looks fine the way it is. If you do want to add flowers make small ones like blossoms or something that trails. Larger flowers will overpower the fruit or bring the focus away from it being a fruit basket.

I think it looks fine, but a few simply flowers like daisies placed sparingly would be a nice touch!

That is a cake?? I think it looks brilliant as it is, so realistic.

Thanks everyone! I managed to resist putting anything else on it icon_biggrin.gif and she liked it.
