I bought a cannon ip 3500, and it arrived last week. I got my edible ink and frosting sheets yesterday. icon_biggrin.gif So, was thinking of making a cake with my kids pic on it for my mil, but the image won't come off the back!!! icon_cry.gif

Any suggestions?? Thoughts??? I'm so totally lost as to what to do. I really want to make this cake look good with this image on it.

TIA,

Misty

Put the image in the freezer for about 10 minutes and then see if it is easier to remove. HTH.

You should not even have to freeze it for 10 minutes, just a minute usually will do.

Thank you everyone for your help with this. I took your advice and put it in the freezer. I think my house is just too hot and humid right now. I did get it off, but there were a couple of rips in it by the time it got on the cake. I was able to still make it look nice.

Again, Thanks,

I've used mine 1 time, and now I think it is clogged up, it won't print anything. Does anyone know what to do for this ?

You may have to do a print head cleaning if you haven't use it in a while. I always take mine out between uses and put each one in a small ziploc bag. Suck the air out with a straw and zip it up. They are tough to maintain if you don't use them often.

I had to buy a new printhead for mine. Do a google search for "cleaning printhead". That will give you several things to try. If you do have to buy a new one check on ebay for cheaper ones to save money.
