So I have my fun shiny new airbrush and I've practiced on coloring book pages and even done 1 cake just spraying all over 1 color. But I'm not sure where to go from here. Please help, my daughter's bday is next weekend!

My 1st question is this: Do you pipe an outline on in icing and then color/fill in with the airbrush or airbrush the outline on as well?

And 2nd question is: In the past I traced an outline with the clear piping gel on wax paper and transfered the pattern to the cake that way. Can I use this same technique with an airbrush? Can I airbrush over piping gel and it blend in the same way? I don't have a projector.
