I made a cake for a party that is at 5pm today and it is 2 ish now. when Can I put on fresh roses? Can I stick them directly into the cake?

NEVER ever stick roses or any other fresh flrs directly into a cake. They have NASTY chemicals + have been sitting in bacteria laden water - YUCK!!!! If you have to do that, dip them in wax or choc. or floral tape stems and stick into straws.
