I am in a hurry and was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much to charge for a wedding cake for 150 people.

i'm just in the begining stages of charging for larger cakes but from what i understand a lot start with a base price per serving, say $2 and go from there in regards to adding additional costs for fondant work, intricate flowers or RI details. does that make sense? i'm giving a quote for 200 serving that will be $400-500 because it's a fairly simple design. hope that helps
