Alright, so I'm trying to figure out what my first cake should be- as in flavor. I'm almost "scared" to make something bc I want it to hold up. You know.. not too moist, not too dry. Hold fondant and etc.
What would you guys suggest that I make? Cake and icing??
if you're using a cake mix, add a box of dry instant pudding mix to it......that will make your cake much more dense so it can hold up to fondant or carving.
what about a scratch cake? what recipes posted on here are good recipes?
