Wasc For A 16 Square?

Will 1 recipe work or should I do 1 and a half? The recipe says 16 inch round, but I don't want my square to fall short.

It takes 15 1/2 cups of batter for one layer 16" square. I would do 1 1/2 recipes of WASC and have some batter left over. One full recipe gives about 12 cups.

Using DH white cake mixes, the (expanded flavors version) WASC yields a tad over 14 cups of batter.
