Does anyone know if you can make a royal icing without the merange powder. My daughter is allergic and I would like to make her a tiara for the top of her cake. Or is there something else someone would suggest.
Anyone? Please any suggestions?
Royal icing is made with egg whites or powdered egg whites or reconstituted meringue powder.
I know there are substitutes for egg whites in baking, but I don't think any of them would be suitable for royal icing.
Have you considered using chocolate or candy melts, rolled fondant or gumpaste for the tiara?
