I just launched a virtual bakery. I'd like to ship my cakes but I need some information on how to ensure they arrive w/o breaking. I plan to freeze them, pack them in a cake box just large enough for the cake circle so they won't have much room to move. I'll put the cake box in a larger box w/a gel ice pack. I shipped one cake today via UPS and it should arrive by Thursday. I am hoping to hear from the client about how it shipped and the flavor. Any suggestions about how to ship, where to get cake boxes for a 6" cake, frosting suggestions, gel pack manufacturers or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at [email protected], too. Thanks.
