Can I put a cake in the refrigerator that has an editable image on it?

Yes, just don't freeze it.

You can freeze it, but when thawing it is best to thaw in the fridge or your image can get water spots and wrinkle up with the extra moisture. (Grocery stores freeze them all the time, if they can do it we can too)
