As for the costing wouldn't it depend on what your paying for ingred.

WASC= White Almond Sour Cream, it is a cake that starts with a cake mix and you add various things to it. Similar to the extender recipes.
As far as how much, I do think that would depend on your area. I'm pretty sure grocery prices are not the same across the board over the US. Sounds like a good time to take a trip to the grocery store with your list of ingredients.
