I took the Wilton I class last summer and learned how to make roses - hopefully it will come back to me when I start to make the bridal shower cake for this weekend icon_smile.gif Anyway, what I really remember is not liking the icing recipe they had us use. I was hoping someone had another yummy icing that worked well for making roses.
Also, how far ahead of time can I make the roses? I've got two kids under 3, so I have to plan my cakes in stages icon_smile.gif
Thanks in advance!!!

I use this icing for everything ... icing, borders, flowers, roses ... everything. It crusts very well. It's the only icing I've used for 25 years.

indydebi's icing recipe rocks!

It's the main one that I use and is very tasty. You get so much icing out of it also.
