I made my first batch of MMF. I had small bits of hard conf. sugar in it. What did I do wrong?
Nothing. Just keep softening it in the microwave and kneading it on a well greased (like crisco) counter. It gets smoother and more pliable then more you warm it up and knead it.

No problem...also, now that I think about it I did have a batch once that was "chunky" which I attributed to the generic powdered sugar. Since then I only use a brand name P.S.
