My brother's childhood friend is getting married in June, and the bride would like to have this wedding cake:

The lady that designed this cake says on her website that the butterflies are made out of chocolate. Does anybody know how it's done? I am giving this cake to them as a gift, since I have known him since I was little. I just really want the cake to be perfect. Thank you.
