This was an off and on cake. Finally it was decided to go on with it last night before midnight. I will never do a short notice cake again! For being short notice it turned out nice. What do you think?

I think it looks great! Is the cake board real astro turf?

Astro turf was a perfect idea for the board. I think the whole cake looks great. If I were to change anything, I may try to paint the bottom layer silver also instead of leaving it white... Even as is, it is wonderful. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks, I like it the way it is aswell. The trophy cake is sitting on a cake base. This is how they requested it.
Thanks again

I've seen and held the real trophy and that looks really good and realistic. I am impressed that you did that on short notice. Great job!
