I'm making a chocolate cake and going to ice it with chocolate BC. I need to then cover it with light pink MMF. I'm afraid that the chocolate icing will show through, though. Will it?

If the fondant is rolled thick enough, it should not show through

If you want a thin fondant cover and light pink, consider a white crumbcoat and keep the chocolate for filling.

I don't have to use fondant so I could just use pink BC to ice and chocolate as a filling. I wonder if that would be better. I hate making MMF and don't want to go to the trouble of doing it if it's not going to work out anyway. But, since the cake is chocolate, I didn't know how it and the filling would taste with just a regular BC icing.
