I just got to thinking that if I couldn't make a gumpaste/fondant lime slice...didn't there used to be candy lime slices...they were kind of gummy consitency? Anyone seen those recently...do they still even make those? Anyone have any ideas of where to get them....old fashioned candy stores or any local store?

I had the same problem when I made a margarita cake, I ended up making it out of candy melts, and painting it.
