Are bubble tea straws those really fat, strong ones that Duff uses instead of dowels in his cakes? They weren't called that but I found a box of them at a store called Smart & Final for about $5-$6 - it was a huge box. Would have taken me years to use them all, lol.

Thanks, Sharon...I did find lots of places but am wondering if anyone has any tips for best shipping costs, or any specific places that sell cake supply items, too, so I can order other things with the straws and consolidate on shipping.

I bought mine at my local oriental food store. They ordered them for me and I think I paid about $1.50 for 50.

Ebay. I get a HUGE case for very little money. They come sealed in plastic in smaller bunches. It's great!
