I'll be putting together my creation tonight including covering the cakes in fondant, I took enough to cover the big cake and coloured/kneaded it last night, added some cornflour and flavour, it's a very soft consistancy though, once I've got it into a big ball and I put it down it visably just starts to relax and go into a flat blob rather than a ball, is this an ok consistancy to put on the cake or should it be firmer?

did u purchase the fondant or make it? That sounds way too soft to me.
Yeah I bought it, Should I just keep adding Cornflour and icing sugar to make it firmer?
