I'm in Australia so....no Michaels and I need to make the colour in the next couple of days so can't order it either....I have the burgundy Americolour but it doesn't look very 'burgundy' if you know what I mean...is there any way to add to it to make it look better?
Have you tried Sugar Flair colours? They have an excellent reputation for adding colour to sugar products.

Well burgundy is (in my opinion) a DARK red with a little bit of blue to make it a bit purple-y. So I would maybe use your burgandy and just see what it needs. If it's too close to purple, add some red. Possibly some black for a darker color. If it's just kinda RED, add a LITTLE bit of blue, or maybe just some black, since a lot of times that has a blue base to it as well. Hope you get it figured out soon!
