How To Bake Cabbage Patch 3D Cake Without A Stand

O.K. so I bought a 3d cabbage patch kid cake pan on e-bay which is 2 parts clipped together and inverted. Trouble is there is no stand and wondered if anyone knoews a way to improvise....

You could try sitting it in a small round pan packed with foil to support it?
Other than that i'm not really sure....

With my 3D Bear Pan, I put it in a loaf pan and crumble up ball of foil to use as wedges around the bear. It has worked everytime I have tried it... Just make sure that it is really stable before putting in your batter.

That may work! Can I put a kitchen aid mixing bowl in the oven ?
