Have you used the "search" tab in the gallery? That's where I start. Then if you find some pics, PM the person and they are usually very willing to help with details. Good luck and don't forget to post your pic!

I did one several years ago (before digital) I used a 3D bear pan and used marshmallows for the trunk and used cardboard for the ears and covered it in suran wrap and then star tip over that...but now I would do it very differently...now that I know how to use fondant....

So the 3D bear pan and let me see if I can find the picture so you can see it...I will take a picture of my picture...be back....

OK...the picture is not good but maybe you will be able to see what I mean at least, but at the time the guy who wanted it for his daughter looked through the Wilton Yearbook...1996...

I do not have a 3 d elephant cake but here is a very simple one using 2 round pans below. They use coconut but you can use any kind of icing. This is just a really simple yet very cute elephant cake that any beginner can do. Not to get off the subject of elephants but If you click on the arrow below picture you will see several other cut out cakes. My other favorite one is the rectangle one where they make a butterfly of which you have to push arrow at left and go back to view the butterfly one.
