Does anyone know how many cups of batter the enhanced cake formula recipe makes? It says yields 1 1/2 mixes does that mean 1 1/2 of what the boxes yield by themselves?

it yields approx 64 ounces. I can double check when I get to work I made many 2 ounce cupcakes with one batch.

and I wrote it down, but don't have that info at home.

A DH mix alone gives me 5 cups, so I'm thinking the enhanced recipe gives me 8.

It will depend on what box mix you use. That is my standard white cake recipe, and I always use Pillsbury white. It yields approx. 7 cups, enough for one 9x13 or two 8" rounds. I do use the optional butter.
