Did Anyone Here Do Oriental Cookies?

I was ask to decorate cookies for a chinese (oriental) party.
In the colors of red, white and black.

Did anyone here do this?
Any ideas to share?

What exactly is expected to be on the cookies?

Simple cookies done with Chinese characters would look elegant in those colors. You'd have to do a bit of research, but it shouldn't be too hard. If you didn't want to do the characters in icing, you could use food color pens on dried glace icing or royal.

i made some asian themed character cookies, here is the link. i just went online, found some characters, if i remember right, they were prosperity, love and happiness ( i hope that is what they really said LOL)

Have you considered decorating fortune cookies?
