Boonenati's Dark Chocolate Mudcake Recipe Help!!!
Decorating By iluvdragonflys Updated 24 Apr 2008 , 11:46pm by lovely
I really want to make this but I have a couple of question. What are the chocolate buttons listed in this recipe and how do I convert to use with a standard measuring cup ? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
Lisa
PLEASE!!! Someone please help me. I know several people have made this recipe. Can you share the conversion and tell me what the chocolate buttons are? Are they candy melts?
Thank You
Chocolate buttons look like candy melts, but are made of real chocolate. Candy melts are an imitation chocolate.
I don't remember seeing a converted version of this recipe, but if you go online and Google the phrase metric to US conversions, you will come up with several websites which can do this for you.

You can just use regular chopped chocolate....
Here is an online conversion calculator:

Hey ya,
Choc buttons are just drops of chocolate and on our nestle packets it also calls them chocolate melts. If your melts are chocolate then they are the same. I think 150 g is about 1 cup. I love Nati's mud cake. Yummy.

By the way, ALL Nati's recipes are awesome. Her buttercake recipe has been part of my repertoire for almost 3 years.
