I have an order for a lemon pound cake . My client wants a filling. I have the tip that you use to fill cupcakes but I'm not sure how to fill a pound
cake. Is it done befor you bake, or after. I don't want to poke holes.
Can anyone give me some advice?

Is this a loaf cake or a bundt cake?

I make a pound cake in a bundt pan using cherry filling. I first put a small amount of batter in pan then put filling on top of that then add the rest of the batter. Then bake. It turns out great. You probably could use any filling. Hope this helps.

I thought about that, but I didn't think it would turn out right. I was worried it would loose it's creaminess (if that's a word). But I will try it. Thanks a bunch.
