Would this work for the hiking boot I am doing? I haven't ever made it.. have no clue how to use it.. but I was thinking.. would it work?

This would have a cake sitting on it...

It would work as long as it was sitting on a flat board. Since it would be pretty thick it's not going to be a big deal if it's hot and it softens a little. I've just started using chocolate clay a little more than I used to, and I really like it. The only thing is that if it's thin (like if you used it to make flowers) and you take it out in the heat, it will soften and melt a little, so watch out for that. Other than that it's easy to work with. You can put it in the microwave for 5 seconds if it's hard to work with at first.
