I've never heard of a divorce cake, but I guess there is a first time for everything.
I'm going to assume this is a happy occasion for at least one of the divorcees.
I would do something like "The beginning of the rest of your Life" kind of theme and not really focus on the bad.
Maybe someone else has actually done one of these cakes.
i had this saved in my favorites.

If you google "divorce cake" you will get a range of pictures. I've checked them out in the past.

This is the cake I had in my favorites too. I like the cake on the groom. Who says you need a wedding to have a great wedding cake!
great thanks to all for your help. This picture was the inspiration for her!! Im trying to convince her to opt for something less bloody lol!
That pic is awesome!!! I wish I had thought of that. How about something like a take on the ball and chain, but with a broken chain?? You could use the ball pan and fondant or gum paste for the chain links??
if you have an edible printer, print off their wedding photo and then tear it up and place the pieces on the cake.
Heyyy thanx everyone for the input heres the final product it'll come out in the por dentro section of el nuevo dia on may 22 for those of u living in the island
