Hi,
I am wondering how to put fresh strawberries on a cake.
How do you guys do it?
Can I just slice some strawberries and set them on the inside of a cake? Or can I somehow set them on a whipped cream filling?
Then again... maybe I need to alternate layers?
Any help is appreciated!

I just slice fresh strawberries and place them on a whipped cream filling. I also slice the berries first with a spoon or two of sugar to sweeten them up and then place them on the cream. Try not to have too much of the liquid when you put berries on top of cream. I also put an icing dam so it doesn't leak out.
