someone has asked me to make little individual key lime pies for next week and I have no idea what to charge for each one. She is wanting me to put them in those little graham cracker crust pie shells that are like a single serving. I just have never made key lime pie before so I don't have any idea what to charge. Please help you have a suggestion, also feel free to give a recipe if you have a good one. thanks all

As with any cake I make, I would take my ingredients cost and add my hourly rate, and then divide among how many pies you make. If some recipes are more difficult to make, or if it's a cake I really don't like to make (or if the customer is a pain the in tush), or if there is a rush I will add an extra cost for that. Find your recipe and find out how much you will spend first. Then make a trial run (since you said you've never made it before), and you should be able to figure out your cost for the pies.

Don't undersell yourself!!!!

Good luck!
