LOL I have been asking ?? after ?? all day today.. but I have a sports banquet cake to do and I would love to do shoes like these and maybe put them on top of a cake? Maybe do a 16 inch sq. and then a 12 inch and put these on top.. would they look goofy????

Ideas would be much appreciated icon_smile.gif

I don't think it would look bad. How are you going to do the botom tiers?

Well on the 16 " I really don't know... it's for a sports banquet.. and it's for MANY sports.. but I figured all of them have to use tennis shoes right? LOL... So what would you suggest? 16"/12/ shoes

I think it'll work! Esp. with the rest of the sports represented.

My DH has a pair of shoes that look reallly similar to those in the pic, just dirtier. Initially I got stuck with a vision of his big floppy dirty shoes on the top of a pink girly cake and it didn't go well. Talk about cake nighmares.

I am sure yours won't look anything like that. Looking forward to the pic!

Thanks icon_smile.gif .. I just have to figure the sizes of the shoes now I guess.. (giving me nightmares..)

I have to do a pair of hiking boots for next week so maybe that will give me enough practice for this cake the week after !

Ughhh.. talk about headache!!! icon_smile.gif
