Smoothin Out Fondant After It Had Dried....

HELP! I have made a fire helmet and as it was drying it has gotten wrinkled... I didnt know if anyone had any tricks or tips as to help make it smooth again without having to start all over again... THANKS!

unfortunatley you might have to start over again... once fondant dries there is not much you can do icon_sad.gif

Trust me, once it has dried, forgetaboutit ! (in my best jersey accent). Just look at the present cake in my photos.........this was my first large fondant cake and learned alot, like you cannot fix fondant once it is dried.

Depending on the damage, you can use Royal icing as spackle to smooth out the cake if you tint it to the same color as the fondant - or airbrush it after you apply.
