I have an request for a cake...She wants a square 2 tier cake and she asked it to be white and gold and whimsical greek with gold leafs. I was wondering if someone had some ideas. I only have 3 days to get it done and I am semi new to this sport and work full time so I an feeling overwhelmed.

I also need to find a supply store close by so that I can purchase products store front instead of online due to time constraints.

Thanks,

Andrea

OK, i haven't tried this before, but I'm going to fiddle with chocolate melts this weekend. The first thing that comes to mind is the greek key patterns. You could cut it out of fondant but that would be pretty time consuming. Then I thought what if you printed out some patterns and did chocolate transfers of them. Since you're doing squares you wouldn't have to worry about curves, just place them on each side, maybe as a thick bottom border, with the gold leaves on top. I would love to see a picture of your finished cake, good luck!
