Have you guys heard of this recipe to make cookie bouquets?
Butter Creme Cookie
I have tried google, but not much info
I have not, however Cookies by design uses a shortbread recipe which is basically a butter cookie so maybe it's close.
I just found this on the web, with it spelled cream instead of creme, it does look like it's for round balls though not cut-out's however with some experimentation it's probably easy to fix that.
French Buttercream Cookies Ingredients
1 1/2 c Powdered sugar 1 Egg
1 ts Soda 1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Cream of tartar 2 1/4 c Flour
1/4 ts Salt Food coloring
1 c Softened margerine Colored sugars
Instructions for French Buttercream Cookies
Mix all ingredients except flour and food coloring well. Add flour and blend at low speed. If desired, tint with food coloring. Chill dough 15-30 minutes before shaping. Shape dough in 3/4 inch balls, Place on greased cookie sheet, flatten with fork sprinkle with colored sugars. Bake at 350 5-8 minutes until set but not brown. I've made something like this for Christmas. It is similiar to a spritz cookie. I've used it in my cookie press.
