i have a client that wants a jack daniels bottle cake. i was told that a sheet cake was fine.. but i really dont want to do that, ideally i would like to do the bottle standing up but i'm having trouble with the neck. stability wise, everything is fine, but i need some tips on carving some of the more intricate details. i tried a test run where i used the fondant to make the details on the outside but it just turned out cartoonish. and i've never worked with gum paste or chocolate clay. would i be better off carving the actual cake or using gum paste? and if carving is my better option any tips?

p.s this site is such an amazing help! thanks to everyone for all of their helpful tips and beautiful cakes!
