I like using royal icing on my cookies, but am wondering if you could put a fondant do-dad on the royal icing.

I am doing cookies for a baby shower, but she doesn't know what she is having. So I want to decorate in neutral colors, but use my tipits to put a rattle, lion, or bottle one the onsies. Can that be done?
