Can you pipe with it ( just butter and cc recipe) and if the cc iced cake has to be refrigerated, how long can it sit out safely?
I have a shelf stable recipe for cream cheese frosting that can also be piped. It is still not as stiff as traditional buttercream but it does hold its shape. I've done rope designs, etc with it with no problems. PM me with your email address and I'll email it to you.

I already have a recipe for cc. It's butter. cc and lemon juice. I need to know how long can cc icing stay out at room temp.
Two hours is recommended, but no longer than four hours tops!
