I spent a ton of time at the book store today to look at all the cake decorating books. I didn't find any really good books on sugar flowers. I do have Wilton's gumpaste book but I'd like to find one with more flowers, more photos and great instruction. Any suggestions?

I was on this same search. I found that the good gumpaste books come from the UK. I ended up getting my books from amazon. Jill Maytham, Alan Dunn, tombi Peck, and Nicholas Lodge. Google the names and their books come up. I spent 50.00 on an out of print book but it has over 1,000 flowers in it. (I figure I can buy one good book or spend $ on several books..)

Nicholas Lodge also sells dvd's. Then you can watch him do it as well. I've heard he is pretty good but have never seen a DVD.

I highly recommend Nick Lodge's dvd/videos. It's wonderful to watch someone actually go through the steps.
