That depends on what brand of fondant you are looking for.

I know a lot of people get Satin ice from www.globalsugararts.com and www.intotheoven.com

Which one is cheaper will most likely come down to shipping and what size you want.

Both have great customer reviews and quick shipping.

if this is your first time with fondant do NOT use Wilton. Wilton is not good and if you can get other brands stick with them.

fondantsource.com has the same price as intotheoven, and if you use coupon code DOLLAR, it'll take $1 off your order... icon_smile.gif

I always make marshmallow fondant; there are several other fondant
recipies found here as well. Here is the link on an article for MMF:

On many, many recommendations here, I chose NOT to purchase my fondant, but to make it using Michele Foster's recipe. It really is an easy recipe to make, it makes quite a large batch, and it tastes very good. Just do as the recipe says and don't add too much sugar! Good luck!

I would highly recommend using marshmallow fondant. It is so easy to make and work with. And it tastes good.
