I was asked to do the number 31 cake.
And they want it with a filling. Did anyone do this before?
I only layered round cakes. And I am afraid that the number will break.
Any tips?

Sorry, the only time I made a number cake (a number one for my daughter's first birthday) I didn't fill it. I carved the #1 out of a 12"x18" cake, and I thought it was maybe too big a bit of cake to try layering wihtou fear of it falling apart. Had the number been a bit smaller, I probably wouldn't have been so nervous trying it.
