Anyone who can help me..

I am making a fish cake using frosting alone, not fondant. Any ideas on how to get a silver frosting?

I am going to do blue and green as well, any ideas on how to get it shiny?

Please help!!!

Thank you so much for any help at all...

If you use a crusting buttercream you should be able to lightly brush luster dust on it for the shine.

Is the Wilton Luster dust ok to use on the frosting to eat?

Would you use the crusting buttercream recipe or do you have a good one you would like to share with me?

I REALLY appreciate the help :0)

Please bare with me ( is it bare or bear grrrrr :0)
So if I used the luster on a cruster buttercream icing I would tell them not to eat the frosting part?

Thank you for the links, they were great.

The pictures in the gallery of the amazing fishes ( most made with fondant and use the luster) you would just tell the client to peel away the fondant and not eat it. Is that correct?

Thank you for patience toward a newbie :0)
