Does anyone have any ideas on a good way to make a disco ball? it will sit on top of a 2 tier cake. Would it be better to use cake or something else?

I did as sugarshack suggest ..ball and fondant, but painted it black , let dry then put a mesh bag over it, then painted with silver luster dust, remove from bag this leaves the pattern from the mesh (black) and the silver squares ...it looked great

hopes this makes sense!!!! icon_biggrin.gif
