A blow dryer
Sheet w/comb & brush
A head w/curlers in it (2-d or 3d bust like)
Her shop logo?
Reproduce her business card

I did this cake for a party theme of the movie "Hairspray" recently. Just used the ball cake pan on a tall 10" cake and cookies around it for lipstick, makeup, etc....

A beehive hairdo!

That would be cute, IMO. I always think of beehives when I think of hairdressers, and am not sure why!

Or a can of hairspray.
Dryer, rollers, scissors, the chair you sit in! Hair dye...FOILS! Haha, that would be funny too.

WOW! Antonia74, your cake is outstanding!

Patty7276, here is a cake I did for my hair stylist as a thank you gift for him. I made it to look like his area of his shop.

God Bless & Good Luck,

OMG Sharon, that cake is amazing! All the little details are adorable...the fern-patterned wallpaper, the chair, the woodgrained floor, all the little things on the table...cute!!!

There was a really cute cake on here a few months ago that had a hair dryer on top and the cord ran down the cake and plugged into the side of the cake. I thought that was so cute. If i can find the pic or who did it I will put it on here.

I have a picture in my gallery of a cake that I did for my salon. It's in the middle of the second row - black and white decos.

Here's one I did for a hairstylist. Its a little bit plain for my taste but it's what they wanted.

i really like the idea of doing the shop logo or bizcard but you could do the head of curlers with cucumbers over her eyes (or is that too "spa" for your cake) can't wait to see the pic-good luck!
