I am doing a cake for a boy going into the Navy. I am going to put the Navy Seal on the cake but need a saying as the boy does not want Good Luck on it.
Does anyone have any interesting ideas?
The only one I can come up with was "Sailing into a new future", but really don't like that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

lift from it "Honor, Courage, Commitment"?

Well at the Naval Academy the saying is "Go Navy, beat Army!"
wonder why it's not....
Sail on Navy, Sink Army? (or blow them outta da water!)
It has to do with the football team and the athletic side of the academy. Their biggest rival is Army and have a whole week of things when they play each other.

i know...
i was just wondering why they didn't use a more "nautical" sounding chant.
sail navy, sink army (or 'em) is just as easy to chant as go navy, beat army
it's that English teacher who likes to play with words (tho' not spelling -- well come to think of it I do play AT spelling and usually get it wrong)
Anchors Aweigh!
Navy song:
Stand, Navy, out to sea, Fight our battle cry;
We'll never change our course, So vicious foe
steer shy-y-y-y.
Roll out the TNT, Anchors Aweigh.
Sail on to victory
And sink their bones to Davy Jones, hooray!
Anchors Aweigh, my boys, Anchors Aweigh.
Farewell to college joys, we sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay.
Through our last night on shore, drink to the foam,
Until we meet once more,
Here's wishing you a happy voyage home.
OMG! That song gets on my nerves! I cant seem to get away from it!!! It started out when we first moved to MD and my husband had the Drum & Bugle Corp always playing it. Then they had to form an anchor ! Ive heard that song so much that I cant stand to hear it anymore!! lol
But yes, anchors away would be a good saying for her cake!! lol
